Dancing Bring Me Joy

9/25/2014

While I dance,  I can not  judge, I can not hate, I can not separate myself from life.  I can only be joyful and whole.  This is why I dance. - Hans Bos

What If Your Light Fade or Go Out?

Wealth, power and fame have an intoxicating effect on some people.  Believe me, I have also experience this exhilaration; it makes you feel independent and protected.  Do not be spellbound by false security of prosperity or prominence because eventually the light will fade or go out.

Sometimes it is so hard to resist the attention and the sense of importance.   I observe the hunger when I read comments or see pictures on social media.  People thriving for the attention from someone important or just want to be heard or seen to elevate their worth.

When I was a politician, I witness it all, yet, when I left office my light faded.  Sometimes I felt used, but now looking back, I was basking in the light too.

Criticism

“The motive behind criticism often determines its validity. Those who care criticize where necessary. Those who envy criticize the moment they think that they have found a weak spot.”
