Negritude

In the ethnic fiction novel Buckwheat's Journey, Buckwheat learns about "Negritude," which means "Black is Beautiful."  They go on an exciting escapade through Harlem!
Bert takes him to the Savoy Ballroom to see proud black people, dressed to the tee, and having fun!
