You do not have to worry about finding a cafe in Paris to get coffee. They are everywhere.  Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Palais Garnier, Le Printempes (fashion show), and Sacre Couer
The Paris coffee scene is part of their culture. These cafés serve potent double espressos made with freshly ground beans from Ethiopia or Rwanda, Salvador or Guatemala  Changing of the Guards at Palace, Big Ben, other sites, me with the Beefeater
